Vlogging = video blogging.
Is this really going to be the future of blogging? Do people really watch the videos they come across? I see vlog’s popping up all over. My favorite is momdot.com‘s founder ~ Trisha’s new vlog iTrisha.com. I like to watch her videos and get glimpses into her life. She is funny as hell.
And today I was over at the Mud Bug and saw Toni’s vlog review of a product. She did such a great job and it got me thinking a little about how the future of blogging was going video. I don’t want to go to video! WAH! I like to write. I like to hide behind my children’s handsome faces. Nobody wants to see me in front of a camera!
When you go to a site that is full of videos, do you watch them? For me, I don’t. But that’s because as soon as my computer starts emitting any type of noise, my children come running over to see what I’m watching. I had to watch Toni’s vlog 4 times before my kids got off my chair! lol! So I generally skip the videos, preferring to spend my time reading.
I can see where vlogging could be really useful in demonstrating a product or prepping a recipe. But for just idle chit chat and opinion…I don’t get it. I guess I’m “old fashioned.” I did get a new Flip Ultra video camera yesterday, so maybe I’ll try it out and then I’ll decide.
Coming soon…to a computer monitor near you….

veelogging (as I call it lol) is fun! I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Thanks so much! It was fun but I was nervous.
I don’t like vlogging that much cause I don’t have patience to watch the videos, I read faster, so I’m not into it.
