Ultimate Blog Party 2009
HELLO! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I’m a blog party virgin and am really happy to “meet” you! First things first, let me introduce myself.
My name is Rhea (REE-ah). Nobody ever says it right, so I thought I would help you out. I’m 36 years old (yikes) and a stay-at-home mom.
I have been married to Bob the Wizard for almost 8 years (seems like a lot longer). He is 54 years old (yes, you did the math correctly…he is 18 years older than me). He’s actually 1 month older than my mother! She likes to tease him about that. We met in an Internet chat room.
Together we have three sons (or “the Monkeys”). On my blog, they have nicknames. I’ve never really shared how we came up with their nicknames, so I thought I would do that today.
My oldest is Mr. A. Actually, “A” is just his first initial. Not very creative. But around the house we refer to him a lot as Damian, Lucifer or the child of Satan and well, since those aren’t very nice nicknames, we settled on Mr. A. 
Next is the first twin, “Eddie.” Are you old enough to remember Leave it to Beaver? Remember Eddie Haskell? Yeah, that’s my boy. He has the face of an angle…but it’s only a facade for his mischievous nature.
Finally, my “youngest” twin that we call Dennis. He is Dennis as in “Dennis the Menace.” He is an adventure seeker to the max. This picture shows him climbing our orange tree…he couldn’t even talk yet (I think he was about 18 months or so). We predict he will be the first one with a broken bone. Recently we discovered that he is afraid of spiders. Weird.
I started blogging a year or so ago. At first it was just to keep family up to date on the kids and family life. Most of hubby’s family lives out of state. But recently it has really become a great passion of mine. It’s an outlet for me since I am home allllll the time. It lets me “talk” to other adults and feel like I am making a contribution to the world. I like to think there is more to life than wiping butts and cleaning up dirt.
I love to cook. You can find some of my favorite recipes here. I plan on adding a lot more as I cook stuff. I also strive to keep a “green” home. I’ve changed out all my cleaning supplies for greener options. I talk about that a lot. Finally, I am starting to do lots of reviews and giveaways (woot!). They are fun and I love to try new things and tell you all about them. I am completely honest in my reviews (never been known to sugar coat things) so if I don’t like it, I’ll tell ya.
Recently I’ve been added to Walmart’s Beyond 11 Mom’s group. It’s a new group that expands on their 11 Moms to include many more bloggers (I think there at 100 right now). Coming up in April, Walmart will be launching an Earth Month YouTube channel and I am super excited to be making some videos for that. I’ll be talking a lot about that as it’s going to be kicking off next month.

hi Reah – I found you quite by accident saw you on someone’s Twitter.
I have two little monkeys fraternal twin 2 year old boys and one rather big hairy monkey @ 15yrs old (adopted).
My twins certainly keep me running and they are so blogable.
I’d be interested in your prize but I don’t think I qualify being in Australia.
My friend is a good friend of a twin mum who had conjoined twins in Australia but sadly one little girl passed away.

You sound like a very busy lady. Your boys look like fun. I bet there is an adventure in everyday for you. I do home daycare, most days I have 5 little boys who are 3-4 years old and one wee babe who is 8 months, and one little 4 year old girl. Oh the fun!!!
