What does the Easter Bunny bring to your house?

Easter is one month away.  Have you started planning your baskets?  At my house, the Easter Bunny comes and hides Easter baskets.  Baskets that are lovingly filled by the Easter bunny…no store bought Spongebob basket here!  *ugh* I hate those!  They are SO ugly.  For the same price, or less, you can create a unique basket for your little ones.  A basket filled with things they (or you) actually like.

This is a picture of me and Mr. A.  I was VERY pregnant with the twins, so this would have been Easter 2006.  It’s not the best, but you can see Mr. A’s Easter basket there.  Isn’t is cute?  It’s a furry duck basket that I got at JCPennys.  You can find adorable baskets everywhere.

This year I got all 3 boys a cute basket from WalMart for $5.00 each.  They are pretty little wicker baskets accented with a blue gingham ribbon.  I plan on filling them with 1 large chocolate bunny, a single toy, some “lollies” and filler candy.  It’s all very inexpensive if you know how to shop *cough* Walmart!  They always have the cutest stuff for Easter.  Another place I’ve gotten great stuff is Big Lots.  They have the best holdiay stuff, and Easter is no exception.

So what does the Easter Bunny put in your basket?  I’m always on the look out for cute new ideas.

Thanks for sharing me with your friends!

I still have my Easter basket…it used to be my mom’s when she was little. And my kids all have their own baskets we use each year. The Easter Bunny doesn’t hid them at our house….he makes a big display with them when he comes overnight. In the morning we get to see what he brought…usually lots of candy, some toys, maybe a book, bubbles, etc. Good stuff. And he usually leaves a platter for the adults with some extra candy :-)
