Good morning and welcome to momdot.com’s weekly Saturday meme, Small Talk Six. They started this meme to give us something to talk about on the “slow” days. HA, like any day is a slow day around this house. But that’s besides the point.
Today’s theme is:
6 things you love or hate about springtime.
- The days are getting longer and I LOVE the extra sunshine that we can enjoy after dinner.
- I HATE my allergies.
- I LOVE Easter and all that it stands for.
- I LOVE all the beautiful purple flowers that grow on my hillside outside of my kitchen window.
- I HATE that it is the beginning of the hot season in Southern California. I don’t like to be hot and I don’t like to wear shorts.
- I LOVE all the fresh berries that are everywhere in the stores and don’t cost an arm and a leg now!

How did I forget about fresh berries? Mmmmm…peach festival, strawbery festival….can’t wait….thanks for the reminder!
hehe…I hate wearing shorts too! It’s right up there with trying on bathing suits (ack!). I forgot to add Easter to my list.
Oh I forgot about #6! We get strawberries and blueberries here.
