I’m SO freaking excited! The twins birthday is coming up next month and I had been thinking of what to do for them. Well, my answer came in the mail today! I got my Birthday Express catalog and what was on the cover? Well, Super Mario Brothers, of course! I had a huge “Ah-Ha” moment as I looked at that catalog.
The boys LOVE Mario. We argue all day long as to who is Mario or Luigi or even Princess Peach or Bowzer. They love to race Mario Kart and play Galaxies. So this will be the perfect party theme.
I think I’m even going to attempt and make a Mario Brothers cake. Maybe one like this? I would just be tickled pink if any cake of mine turned out that cute. I already bought the figurines off Amazon today. I certainly couldn’t make them out of gumpaste. I don’t even know what gumpaste is! I’m not sure if I have the skills…so wish me luck!
Has anyone had a Mario Brothers party before? I would love any tips or ideas!! Thanks!
On afterthought…I can’t believe my babies are going to be THREE years old. Holy crap.

I can’t believe your babies are going be three either. when is their Birthday again, I can’t remember, I only remember Mr. A since the girls wrote it on the calendar when he was born and keep putting it on the calendar ever year but somehow we don’t have the twins birthday down.
The cake looks wonderful!!! Good luck with the cake! You can have the twins dress up as Mario and Luigi! Have some Super Mario themed games too, like an obstacle course where they have to save Princess.
