Proud Owner of Two Three Year Olds!
Sorry I have been completely MIA this weekend. We have been going going going for the last 3 days and finally this morning I was able to sit down and go through the 122 pictures that I took.
Saturday, May 9th, the little brothers turned 3 years old! Happy Birthday to my little men!! I can’t believe how fast time is flying. You may have read about our Super Mario Brothers Birthday party that we had last weekend. Hmm..now that I think about it, I never actually went through and shared pictures of anything but the cake. Bad mommy! Anyways, this weekend we took the boys to the Zoo along with grandma (papa’s leg was hurting, so no walking for him). It was a beautiful day and we had a blast.
I think the best part of the whole day was going through the lizards, snakes and other reptiles. We were in that section during the 2 hours of sunshine and they were out in force. Of course, the boys LOVED them. It was cool. I’ve never seen all the lizards and turtles so active. I took a lot of animal pictures and I don’t usually do that.
As always, I have a ton of pictures to share. Here first, are my little men on the day (after) they were born. Everybody say “Awwww!”
To see the rest of our day…
Of course, we were not at the Zoo 5 minutes when I pushed BoBo (formerly known as “Dennis”) off the picnic bench. He sported this giant goose egg all day. Poor kid. Happy Birthday to him!
Daddy and NayNay (formerly known as “Eddie”).
Here are the brothers checking out one of those very active lizards. They were fascinated.
Me and BoBo. The only pictures you will ever see of me are the ones I take myself. lol
My monkeys…on the monkey.
Can you see the Baby Gorilla??? It was THE.CUTEST.THING.EVER! I want one.
Mr. A. looking all cute and sweet.
This was up in the gondola (SkyFari?) You know, those buckets on a string that carry you through the sky? I didn’t want to put my fat butt up there. But the little ones insisted and since it was their birthday…I went. They loved it.
Here is the end of the day, back at home. We stopped and got an ice cream cake from Coldstone.
