Review ~ The Vroom

I bet you are asking, “what the heck is a Vroom?”

A Vroom is a gift from God!

This small, but powerful, vacuum can clean up a mess in less time than it takes to find a broom or go get the cleaning supplies. Vroom installs in kitchen and bathroom cabinets or under the counter in workrooms so you won’t ever have to go looking for it. Vroom is always there, always convenient and an auto on/off means it’s ready when you need it. And with up to 24 ft. of retractable hose, Vroom goes a long way towards making your life easier!

When my Vroom showed up (Courtesy of Vroom) at my doorstep, I couldn’t wait to try it out!  I tore open the boxes and started pulling everything out.  But then, my balloon popped.  This did not look as easy as I had hoped.  The two boxes of hardware, and two sets of instructions were a little daunting.  I started reading the first set of installation instructions.

There were 2 pages of instructions telling me how to drill a hole in my wall and run tubes between two different cupboards.  WTH?  It was enough to hurt my brain and make me put it away for several days.

vroom3But then I actually sat down and looked through the boxes.  I found another set of operating instructions.  In it was very easy to follow and understand instructions for installing my Vroom under my kitchen sink.  *sigh*  Thank goodness!  I thought, “this isn’t going to be so hard after all,” and it wasn’t.

My husband proceeded to install the hardware needed (and included).  He actually said it was very well laid out and easy to understand.  We had my Vroom up and running in no time!

vroom1I think my favorite part of the Vroom is really just how easy it is.  It sits under my kitchen sink and is ready to go whenever a three year old strikes.  We dropped an animal cracker on the floor and stepped on it.  I just whipped out my Vroom and it was cleaned up lickety split.  Before, it would have sat on the floor, spread into crumbs and been swept up a week later when I finally got around to it.  Here is a little video demonstration on just how handy it is.

You can learn more about the Vroom by visiting their website, www.vroomyourroom.com.  They even sell various attachments that you can use.  I really want to get an extra wide floor attachment and the pet hair attachment.  I can suck the loose hair right off my dog! lol!

vroomthumbYou can buy your own Vroom for about $300.00.  You can search their website for retailers near you or you can order right online.  You can also register to WIN your very own Vroom!  Once a month, Vroom gives one away and you can register  here for the chance at getting your own.

My kitchen floor has been crumb free since getting this handy appliance.  I love it.  I only wish it had the capability of sucking up wet messes.  That’s the only thing that could make it better!

Just so you know… that’s my look of “You’re taking my picture again?”

Honestly, the installation was easy. I did it in a couple hours in the morning when I was home sick from work. And the VRoom works great! Sure does help keep up with the 3 little wizards-in-training…

That’s pretty awesome. We could REALLY use something like that in our kitchen. One question…where does all the stuff you sucked up go?

The tall box on the left has the retractable hose. The short box on the right has the motor and the bag. It’s easily accessible by taking the faceplate off (behind the Vroom logo). :)

You slave driver you .LOl im kidding. That looks awesome and it would be so handy, I hate having to drag out the big ole V to clean up a litle mess that my girl did. So I tend to leave it which then just ends up tamped all through the house !
