Fat Flinging Friday ~ Week 2
Hey! Happy Friday! Welcome to week 2 of Fat Flinging Friday. My little weekly weight loss support group. How did everyone do this week?
I went to the doctor on Tuesday. He thinks I am dealing with a little bit of depression. Go figure. I’m overweight and it makes me sad. When I’m sad, I eat. Big bad ugly cycle. So, I’ve been put on a low dose anti-depressant and I’m trying to deal with some of the reasons I over eat. Hopefully I will be able to end this cycle.
This week I actually worked out three times with my EA Active Sports game! I didn’t do as many workouts as I was supposed to do for their 30 day challenge, but 3 times in one week is impressive for me.
I didn’t lose any weight this week (boo) but I think I am on the right track. Next week I’ll add in a few more workouts and I’m planning on upping my protein. We’ll see if i t works.

Sorry for the lack of loss but YEAH for the workout!
Hey woman. Haven’t weighed myself yet, but I did workout 4 times this week and I plan on working out today, too. Did I tell you DH bought the wii Active? He did and that’s what we’ve both been using! I’ll try and weigh myself later today and let you know. Good job on the 3 days this week!
YAY for getting a Wii Active! I hope you have fun with it. I like my Active Sports game. I’m getting better at it not killing me.
So I posted my weigh-in and, to be honest, I didn’t do as bad as I thought I would. I ate like crap last night (margaritas, pizza, breadsticks) and haven’t exercised all week due to moving and a bad back.
I hope things clam down and I’ll be able to get back in the groove!

I posted my update and Im going to go and buy a Wii next week! Im super excited ! For those of you that have one which excersise one would you buy I know there is Wii Fit and now Active , which one is better !
I have never used the Wii Fit. But I hear it’s a bit insulting. lol. The Active Sports is very encouraging. But I’ve never used the fit. I’m sure either one would be great.
I could have done better . This weeks been a lil hard. My goal is to kick but 5 days a week ! I use to be a daily weigher . But now my plan is to weigh myself every two weeks.
It is hard!! I suck at this dieting crap.
I didn’t do well this week, it was rather busy. I did go to the pool and walked A LOT yesterday at COSI.
Remember that you may be building muscle, which you are trading for the fat right now, so you may not see a weight loss right away. It’s more in how you feel and how your clothes fit. A pound of muscle takes up less room than a pound of fat. I think we forget this (myself included) and then are bummed when we don’t see that change in weight right away. Keep at it and pushing yourself and it will come.

I thought that I already posted but maybe I just dreamt about it.
Thanks so much for putting this together. I had an ok. Started the EA Sports 30 Day Challenge which is making my butt hurt tremendously but in a good way. There is so much butt back there that at least something is going on.
