I consider myself to be generally unlucky when it comes to contests, lotteries, raffles, etc.  My husband on the other hand is very lucky.  He always wins at the casino, he’s won big trips, cool stuff that I am always pretty jealous of.  Well, the Karma God’s finally decided that it was my turn!

The MomDot blog ran the coolest blog giveaway ever.  The prize was a $3800.00 play structure from Home Place Structures.  You read that right….THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED dollar prize.  Guess who won?

This beautiful, FUN FUN FUN play set will be arriving to MY house so MY kids can play on it.  I’ve never been so excited in my whole life!

When Trisha called me Friday night I almost threw up.  And then it was a bit after 9pm, so I was limited on who of my friends I could call with the news.  I tried calling my mom.  But she forgets to listen for her cell phone.  I left a frantic message for her to call me back.  So I called my brother.  His kids are going to get as much use out of it as mine will.  He was stoked, too.  Finally my mom called back and I told her what happened.  We jumped up and down laughing and screaming like a couple of school girls.

So this weekend was the best I have had in a long time.  I got this great news on top of meeting my new Intended Parents (that story will be posted later this week).  It was a fantastic holiday and I can’t thank Trisha and momdot.com enough.  I really needed this pick me up.
