Small Talk Six ~ I Scream You Scream!

by mommy23monkeys on July 17, 2009

smalltalksix125We all scream for ice cream!!!

YAY!  I love love love ice cream.   So when I saw this weeks topic I just kinda laughed.  This will be so easy!

Small Talk Six is momdot’s weekly Saturday meme in which you come up with a list of six items based off of a certain topic.  To see all the weekly topics so you can play with us, visit here!  So pull up your bowl and let’s get to it!

This weeks topic is:  6 flavors or types  of ice cream that you love or hate

  1. Ben and Jerry’s Coffee Heath Bar Crunch.  SO FREAKING GOOD!  Dh will bring me home a pint of this sucker and I’ll eat it all.  Maybe I should not admit that?  Maybe that’s why I can’t lose weight…hhmm…either way.  YUMO!
  2. Ben and Jerry’s Phish Food.  (Yeah, I like Ben and Jerry’s…got a problem with that?).  Chocolate ice cream, thick caramel, gooey marshmallow, little scrumptious chocolate fishies…ooohhh yeahhh!
  3. Denali Moose Tracks.  Now, I am not usually a vanilla fan at all, but there is such thick ribbons of heavenly fudge that it makes up for the vanilla ice cream.  Throw in some peanut butter cups and you have a winner.  By looking up these flavors, I just learned that Moose Tracks comes in chocolate. Now that sounds perfect and I will be looking for it next time I go shopping!
  4. Cold Stone Creamery’s Mud Pie Mojo (minus the almonds).  Coffee ice cream, chocolate syrup, peanut butter, whipped cream (mixed in), and crushed up oreo’s!  I never order anything else from Cold Stone.  This is the very best ever!
  5. Thrifty brand Chocolate Malted Crunch.  Yes, we can still find Thrifty flavors here in Southern California.  I have always loved the Chocolate Malted Crunch.  I remember getting it on my cones when I was a kid.  Brings back lots of good memories.
  6. Chocolate Drumsticks.  An American past time, ’nuff said.

Alright, so I didn’t list any ice cream that I hate.  That’s because I don’t really hate much ice cream.  The only thing I ask is that it’s not vanilla and it doesn’t have nuts.  But as you can see from my list…there are a few exceptions.

So make up your list and play with us!  Visit momdot.com to join in on the linky!

I didn’t list any flavors that I hate, either, because I couldn’t think of any!

Have you seen the new Lil’ Drums Drumsticks? I saw them in the store but haven’t tried them.

I don’t like nuts in my ice cream either. Unless it’s Ruggles Bear claws, which has chocolate covered cashews in it. I didn’t even put that on my list! I forgot! Plus I haven’t been able to find it for a few years now.

I forgot about Rocky Road and then smother it in chocolate sauce. Oh yeah! Great list.

I love the Heath Bar Crunch. When I buy frozen yogurt I often put on the heath bar toppings.
