I also carried a baby for a couple who could not have one of their own. My pregnancy was unplanned, couldn't have been at a worse time, unsupported by the father AND my family. I didn't know what to do. My friends urged me to have an abortion, but I wouldn't. I decided that adoption was the only route for me to uphold my morals, still be able to fulfill my goals, and give my baby the future I know I could not give her. The experience was wonderful and heart-wrenching at the same time. Many people didn't like what I was doing, not that I asked for or valued thier opinion. In nine months I told more people to f-off than I have in my entire life, before and since (It's been 18 years.) Being a mother is choosing the best for your child, no matter how it makes you feel.
