GIVEAWAY ~ Sam's Club Introduces eValues (CLOSED)

evaluesI tried SO hard to be a “couponer.”  Like 5 separate times even.  But I sucked at it.  I got really into it for a bit not long ago.  I had a coupon binder and went crazy buying newspapers and spent hours (yes, hours) clipping and organizing coupons.  There are people that say it only takes a minimum amount of time after the initial set up, but I think they are lying.  So my coupons and their fancy organizer are in a pile in my bedroom not saving me a bit of money.

But now Sam’s Club is introducing a paperless coupon system that is perfect for people like me:  The non-coupon clipping couponers.  It’s called eValues.

Sam’s Club Plus Members will receive offers tailored to them and discounts will be automatically taken at the register using their existing Membership cards. Sam’s Club is also including offers on high-ticket items such as appliances, electronics, tires, mattresses and services including optical.  There are no coupons to clip and no rebate forms to complete and mail with eValues.

COOL!

Automatic discounts and coupons loaded directly onto my Sam’s Club Plus Membership Card!

Now, a Sam’s Club Plus Membership has an annual fee of $100.00, but Sam’s is guaranteeing a minimum of $200.00 in automatic savings annually, so your card will totally pay for itself…double!  And, if you are not satisfied with your savings on the eValues program, they will refund your membership fee.  Yeah, I said it.  There is absolutely no risk here to try it out.

I personally would much rather pay for a membership somewhere that I will make money back and not have to torture myself trying to clip and organize paper coupons.  In addition, think of all the trees you will be saving by not using paper!  YAY for being Green!

I even have a little video you are encouraged to watch so you can see exactly how the program will work for you.

eValues from Sam’s Club on Vimeo.

Now, I did promise a giveaway didn’t I?

STSBadgeI am very excited to be one of just a handful of amazing bloggers chosen to work directly with Sam’s Club to bring you the latest and greatest that they have to offer.  Along with this honor, comes a few perks…for you!

First, I will be giving away TEN Sam’s Club Plus Memberships (one per week) in September and October.  I’ve decided that we are going to have a little fun with this and play some games and such along the way.  But for now, this week, I will keep it simple.

First Mandatory Entry (to be completed first)

Answer the question:  What would you do with an extra $200 a year?  Because that’s how much you are guaranteed to save with the eValues program.  Would you buy something special?  Pay some bills?  Save it?  Get creative!

Bonus Entry for this Giveaway

First, Become a follower of Sam’s Club on Twitter. Then, tweet this message and receive an entry, tweet as much as you like for unlimited entries!  Don’t forget to link me to your tweets in order to count.

I’m already a Sam’s Club member, but would love the chance to upgrade to the plus membership! Sadly, $200 would all go towards my 5 year old’s giant dental bill, and barely make a dent!!! Or, maybe I’d save it and make sure all her permanent teeth get sealed the second they come in! ;-)

  2. Jessica says:

Wow is all I can say about this giveaway and this new ecouponing that Sam’s is starting. Great idea. I would use the 200 towards new eye glasses that my mother needs. She only wants it done at Sam’s so that would work out well. We used to be members but have not been able to afford it so this would be wonderful. Count me in please.

an extra $200 a year would make it so much easier to spoil the grand baby. I always want to buy her cute things and fun toys, but the extra money just isn’t there most times. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.

  206. Gloria says:

I would use it for buying groceries or for buying gas for the car. It wouldn’t take long to use it up I’m sure.

I’d go out to dinner more! We love dining out but can’t afford it!

With an extra $200, I would go to the bank, get it all in quarters and try to set the world record for quarter stacking. I figure that I could get to about 30 or 35 feet… I have no idea what the current record is though… I don’t even know if there is a record. Anyway, thanks for the contest, I love Sams club even when it was Pace a million years ago. Alot of my laundry baskets still say Pace on the side :)

I would use it towards a computer for my daughter!

  225. Stacey says:

I should probebly pay bills with an extra $200, but instead I would love to do a little shopping for myself for a change!

  226. Kathy Willis says:

With the $200.00 I would treat myself to a day at the spa!

  227. Gianna says:

I would keep it for those little emergencies such as new tires or new fridge when you least expect it!

  228. Shane Murray says:

I would save for two years and get the 64GB iPod Touch!

  229. Pamela S says:

I have a Sam’s Club close to me but have never belonged. I’d LOVE to try it out and the Plus Membership sounds like the way to go! I’d use the extra $200 to buy some gourmet or fun foods that I normally don’t want to splurge on. Thanks so much!

  230. Geoff K says:

I should probably be responsible and say I’d use the extra $200 to pay off bills or save it, but I’m going to be honest and say I’d probably use it to reinstate my memberships to both Netflix and Rhapsody — to save money, I gave them both up, and my entertainment needs have gone unfulfilled ever since. It would be nice to have a justification to bring them both back! Thanks for the great giveaway – I’d love to be able to be a regular shopper at Sam’s Club!

Well if I had an extra $200 it would probably go towards a treat for me, I’m looking at getting myself a netbook, itouch, or a e-reader thingy, something like that. However, when we save money like that I don’t consider it “extra” I just call it good stewardship of the paycheck Hubby brings in, so I guess it would just go in the bank lol!

  282. Sarah L. says:

The first thing I would do is buy a sewing machine so that I could learn to make simple dresses (don’t cost an arm and a leg) for the youngest member of our family. Having boys was easy because they spend most of their time in jeans…not so girls. Girls need pretty things…even their jeans need something special. It would be so much fun.
