If you have more than one child (heck, if you even just have ONE child), you know that getting a good photo of them all together is all but impossible. I put on my combat gear and headed out yesterday to try this daunting feat.
I was defeated.
By three adorably impossible little boys.
My goal was to try to get a good photo that I could use in this years Christmas card. I coordinated their shirts to semi-match and we (my mom and I) took them to a place called Bates Nut Farm. Bates is a fun place with lots of homemade goodies, a little petting farm and oodles of charm. I thought it would be a great chance to get a good photograph.
There were other people waiting to take pictures, so I didn’t have all day. Here is what I ended up with:
Well…almost. At least they are all looking at the camera. Hopefully the next one will have smiles…

I think they are done now. BoBo is leaving and Mr. A. is sleeping…
*sigh*
I remember a friend last year took all of her bad photos and put a card together. It was really quite funny. I know I only just started trying to get a group shot, but I might be done. It was exhausting.

Oh they are cute. I thought I was the only one who could not get their kids to take pictures. Only difference is that my kids are WAY older.

Last Thursday we attempted Christmas photos too—I have ONE DAUGHTER–never again. If people want a picture of her they can come to our house and take one.
we actually got ours done a couple weeks ago, because we had to go to hilo (from kona, imagine driving the 78 the distance to LA…that will put you in hilo). i don’t know what is going on with the child right now, but every smile is fakey and all gums. although, i suppose i shouldn’t complain too much, because next year at this time, she’ll probably be in braces and i won’t get any smile out of her at all.
