About Me
I thought I would do my list of 100 things about me. Not sure if I’ll find 100, but I’ll do my best.
- My name is Rhea (REE-ah)
- I’m married to Bob
- I am the mommy to three sons (aka: The Monkeys)
- Mr. A is the oldest (2004)
- I have twins (2006).
- I call them Dennis and Eddie (or BoBo and NayNay)
- Yes, I have twins in my family.
- I didn’t know about the tendency for releasing multiple eggs until it was too late.
- I know my hands are full.
- It’s better than having an empty heart.
- I wish people would stop feeling sorry for me and my hands being full!
- Twins are not a curse.
- I delivered surrogate triplets in 2007.
- You did the math right, I delivered 6 babies in 3 years.
- I have 1 brother
- I have 2 step sisters and another step brother
- I always refer to my step-dad as “dad.”
- My father died when I was 9
- I lived in Oklahoma when he died
- He had a heart attack.
- He was only 30 years old.
- I’ve outlived my father
- I used to work in banking
- I was a licensed investment representative
- I could sell life insurance, annuities and mutual funds
- I hated it
- Except I did earn a trip to New Orleans because of my sales
- I LOVE New Orleans!
- I would live there
- I would be drunk all the time!
- I also worked in casinos
- I hated the casinos
- My husband still works at a casino
- I won’t say whether he hates it or not
- I used to have to count 100’s of millions of dollars in cash every night
- cash is dirty
- I used to work in an animal hospital
- the animal hospital was my very favorite job ever
- animals don’t talk back
- animals don’t argue
- they are cute and furry and sweet
- when I was young I went to Alaska and worked in a cannery
- cannery’s are dirty
- and stinky
- and slimy
- I lived in a tent on the side of a hill for 3 months
- I took showers at the laundry mat
- It rained every day
- I left my (ex) husband at home when I went
- I went with my 2 best friends
- we had a life changing time
- I would not do it again!
- I love to drink
- I love vampire stories
- My favorites vampire show is True Blood on HBO
- I watch Grey’s Anatomy every single Thursday
- I DVR my ER
- I’m sad that ER is going to be over
- I haven’t watched the last 5 recorded episodes because I don’t want it to be over
- I’ve probably watched the movie Armageddon 100 times
- I secretly love Titanic, too
- I love to watch real life Titanic explorations on TV
- I don’t much care for the beach
- it stinks
- I would rather be in the mountains
- I love to go camping
- My family camps in the desert all the time
- I love to go off-roading
- I wish I had a quad
- I would settle for a car. LOL
- My family of 5 only has one car that fits 4 people
- That really sucks
- Since I don’t work, we can’t justify a car payment
- We’re working on a solution for that
- I can’t believe I made it to #75!
- I’m addicted to Twinstuff
- I visit their forums 20 times a day (at least)
- I am trying to get insurance approval for weight loss surgery
- I’ve come across a few road blocks
- I’ve always struggled with my weight
- The only time in my life I was thin was after a car accident in 1991
- It’s amazing how much weight you lose with your jaw wired shut! lol!
- I hit a U-haul style truck head on
- I lost
- I don’t remember the accident
- Probably a good thing
- When I married my husband, he’d had a vasectomy prior to meeting me.
- He had it reversed so we could have our children
- It took us 2 years to become pregnant
- I spent my entire adult life longing for a child
- I was 32 when I finally had my wishes answered
- Now I wonder what was I thinking?! HA! Just kidding!
- I love pugs
- I have a black pug named Angus
- I had a fawn female named Madeline that died 2 months before I found out I was pregnant
- I think God spared her the heartbreak of taking the back seat to a baby
- I can’t believe that I am almost done.
- WTH was I thinking to list 100 things?!
- I love to blog!
- I love to mess with my templates, so expect things to change, often.
