Like all kids, my boys LOVE carbonated sodas.  Like all moms, I try and convince them to drink anything but. Especially lately with our trying to cut out all the junk that the kids eat, it was nice to find a great alternative.

Introducing the new Juicy Juice Sparkling Fruit Juice.

I was really excited to be offered the chance to try these new all-natural, lightly carbonated drinks.  There are currently three flavors:  Apple, orange and berry.  All three contain a whole serving of fruit!  The cans are designed to be colorful, fun and be a perfect fit in a young child’s hand.  The best part is that they have less sugar than regular Juice Juice (and way less sugar than that orange soda!) and my boys liked them just as much.

It was pretty amusing, my boys followed their normal patterns and picked their predicted favorites.  Anthony’s was orange, Gabe’s was apple and Nate’s was berry.  This mommy’s favorite also happens to be the berry, too.  We were so happy with our Sparkling Fruit Juice’s that when our samples were gone, I went to the local grocery store and bought some more.

Our local Alberstons store was selling the 4 packs for around $3.50.  I thought this seemed a little expensive for an everyday drink.  Lucky for me, my boys drink a lot of water and so  I’ll be saving the Sparkling Juice’s for special times or occasional treats.  Times when a soda would be appropriate, I will happily hand them this healthier alternative.

Us mommy’s need to be sneaky about getting the healthy stuff into them now don’t we?

I think the Juicy Juice Sparkling Fruit Juice is brilliant and delicious.  I wonder if I could convince them to actually make the “all-natural” part organic?

One lucky reader will get a variety 6 pack of this new Sparkling Juice, two of each available flavor, and a Juicy Juice tote bag!

If you are are a regular reader, then you know of my oldest son’s recent ADHD diagnosis.  Rather than going straight for medication to help him manage, we decided to try changing his diet. There are lots of studies out that link a diet full of preservatives, dies and hormones to ADHD.  Many people believe that by removing the “stuff” and eating organically, then the symptoms can be reduced or even eliminated.

One of my favorite things about having boys is their crazy sense of adventure.  Boys have the ability to build a castle out sticks or fight sea monsters on the slip and slide.  They are constantly on the go and ready for anything.  My boys also have a healthy love of critters.

eek!

We were fortunate to be introduced to Backyard Safari Outfitters.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Freschetta. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am a BIG pizza lover.  In high school, I literally ate pizza for lunch every single day.  I never seem to tire of it.  I order delivery for my family several times a month and usually have a stash of frozen pizza’s in my freezer.  If you think about it, pizza is the perfect food.  It’s got all your food groups:  bread, dairy, meat, and cheese.  It’s a logical dinner choice, dontcha think?  Now that I will be starting a diet and with Anthony’s food sensitivities, I am going to have to rethink my love affair with pizza.  But, not today.

I was offered the chance to try out the new Freschetta FlatBread pizza, and I happily accepted.

Can you believe I had never tried Freschetta brand pizza before?  I am pretty brand loyal when I find a product I like so I had never ventured out to try the Freschetta.  I can honestly say that I am really glad I got this chance to try something new.  It was really great pizza!

I sent Bob to the store and he came home with Zesty Italian.  Now, I’m not usually a flat bread or thin crust gal, either.  But the thin, crispy crust of the Freschetta FlatBread was really delicious.  On top of that was a generous helping of pepperoni, salami, sausage and cheese.  I wish my local grocery store had some of the other flavors like Roasted Garlic & Spinach or 5 Cheese.  I was disappointed when Bob came home with pizza that had sausage and salami on it.  But you know what?  It was really very tasty and I was pleasantly surprised.

Of course the boy’s loved the pizza, too.  The sauce isn’t so spicy, so it’s very toddler friendly.

Right now you can print a $1.00 off coupon from Freschetta so you can try it for yourself.

Raising 3 boys in Southern California on a single income is really hard.  We constantly struggle to make ends meet while providing food and shelter for the kids.  There usually isn’t a lot left over for things like clothes and shoes.

Thank goodness for Grandma’s!

And thank goodness for Marshalls and TJ Maxx!

I love these stores.  You can always find great deals at a fraction of retail cost.  This is a life saver when you have 3 boys that barely stay in one size for an entire season.  They grow so fast and are so hard on their stuff.  It’s enough to make a momma go crazy.

I have found some of my favorite things at these discount stores.  The twins have the cutest monkey hoodies that we got last season, and (still) my favorite shirt of Anthony’s came from TJ Maxx in the fall.  It’s great quality, not what you would expect at discount prices.

Not two months ago, I spent nearly $50.00 on tennis shoes for Anthony at a “discount” shoe chain.  They did not last TWO MONTHS.  *ugh*  It’s so frustrating.  Boys are so hard on their things.  So I headed out to Marshalls to check out their shoe selection.  I was able to score a pair of Reebok tennis shoes for him for less than $25.00.  He was thrilled and could not wait to “personalize” them…note the non-standard green laces.  LOL

I’m so happy with our purchase!

Honestly, I have not made it to TJ Maxx in a while.  When you are giantly pregnant it’s hard to get out and just browse.  I can’t wait to have the baby and head out to see what I can score for the boys.  Just don’t you forget that they are there, shelves stocked and waiting for you to come find the perfect deal!

FTC Disclosure:  I was provided with a $25.00 gift card to each store so that I could discover their Spring fashion finds and share my thoughts with you.
